Nadat de patiënt zes tandheelkundige implantaatbehandelingen heeft ondergaan in Antalya, Turkije, moet hij groot belang hechten aan de mond- en tandgezondheid. Tandheelkundige implantaten moeten regelmatig en correct worden gereinigd en onderhouden, omdat mond-tandheelkundige verzorging en reiniging die niet correct en ordentelijk worden uitgevoerd, implantaatverlies kunnen veroorzaken. Minstens twee keer per dag twee minuten tanden poetsen, een antibacterieel mondwater gebruiken, tandzijde gebruiken en een interfaceborsteltje, zal de levensduur van de all-on-6-behandeling verlengen. Voor de lange levensduur van de implantaten is het ook belangrijk om het gebruik van sigaretten en zure dranken te vermijden.
